About Kathryn Beals

Kathryn and her husband Travis share a love of the outdoors and support wilderness conservation and access. Many of Kathryn's paintings are based on places they have hiked, and the photographs Travis has taken where they camp. Together they have painted and photographed many peaks in the Sierras, the Rockies and British Columbia's Coast Mountains.

Kathryn and Travis will spend the summer of 2008 hiking a 500 mile section of the Pacific Crest Trail.
