Acacia Tea Boxes

Acacia and resin art boxes by BC artist Kathryn Beals

Rectangular Acacia Box Styles

Compare Box Sizes

They’re originally designed for tea, but these wood and resin boxes have many other uses around the house.

Kathryn has three sizes of rectangular tea boxes; small (four compartment), medium (five compartment) and large (ten compartment). All boxes are made with food safe, sustainable materials, and are branded on the back with Kathryn’s custom logo. These boxes ship wrapped in kraft paper, with a ribbon and care card.

Four Compartment Box

The four compartment box measures 12 1/2" x 4 1/8" x 3 7/8" on the outside dimensions. This is Kathryn’s original size which is being discontinued, but you may find a few in the store.

Five Compartment Box

The five compartment box measures 14.75”x 4.375” x 3.75” on the outside dimensions. It can hold approximately 30 essential oil bottles, 40 tea bags or 5 watches.

Ten Compartment Box

The ten compartment box measures 14.75”x 7.75” x 3.75” on the outside dimensions. The compartments are slightly smaller in size than the five or four compartment boxes, but this box can hold approximately 60 bottles of essential oil, 80 tea bags or 10 watches. The dividers in the ten compartment box are removable.

Care instructions for acacia and resin functional art: Wipe clean with a damp cloth, and condition small scuffs in the wood with mineral or butcher block oil. It’s ok to take them outside or rinse briefly under the tap, but do not store them outdoors or in damp conditions. The wood finish and resin surfaces are food safe, but they’re not recommended for liquids or immersion in water. The resin box top can be cleaned with glass cleaner or 70% isopropyl alcohol if needed.

Box packaging

All tea boxes will be shipped in kraft paper wrapping, with a decorative ribbon and a care card. We endeavor to save packaging waste in every area we can, so we often reuse cushioning materials and boxes from art supply orders. Read more about our sustainability initiatives here.
