About this Piece

This is a set of companion tiles and hexagonal board, to be used with a Settlers of Catan boxed game set.

The set includes the 19 tiles for the 3-4 player version, including Wheatfield, Pasture, Brick, Rock, Forest and Desert. The tiles are natural slate, pour painted in the colours of the game, and have a black velvet backing and clear coat finish. The edges are painted gold.

To denote the ports, the set includes 12 button tiles for Sheep, Rock, Wheat, Timber, Brick and 3:1, painted in the colours of the game. Gold decals indicate each type, and the ports have a black backing as well.

This set also includes a hexagonal acacia board, painted with food safe resin in Kathryn’s Northern Waters style. The board has two handles and can also function as a serving tray when you are finished your game. Playing the game on a tray allows it to be moved, freeing up the table for mealtimes.

This is meant as a companion set for those who already own the boxed game - you will need the original boxed game for the cards, dice, settlement and road pieces. Purchase the boxed Settlers of Catan game at your local independent game store.

This is handmade art, and all handmade pieces will have small cosmetic defects and/or irregularities. Check photos carefully and message us for any clarifications.

Care and Packaging

Cleaning instructions: Wipe clean with a damp cloth, and condition with mineral oil. All resin and paint are sensitive to UV light, and your piece will last longest if stored indoors away from direct sunlight. You can clean the board’s velvet backing with a lint roller.

Your board will be packaged in kraft paper with a ribbon. As part of our sustainbility initiative, we reuse clean incoming packaging from Kathryn’s art supply orders to cushion your order. It doesn’t look as professional, but it’s better for the environment. We hope you can use it again too!
