OXO Good Grips Large Silicone Drying Mat
Plastic works fine, but I really like these glass spray bottles for my isopropyl alcohol. Always label!
Reusable drip trays resist resin, so you can peel off the drips and use them again and again.
I prefer black nitrile gloves to protect my hands from the paint and resin, and keep oils from my hands off my paintings. Reuse them as often as possible.
This phone holder clips onto the shelf above my workbench and holds my phone to film videos.
My beloved torch, great for resin bubbles or heating up my burning brand. Pro tip, use the wider propane bottles for more stability when you set it down.
For applications that require a respirator, I like this set because it includes goggles that fit well over the mask.
Blick Artist’s Apron. I wipe my hands off on my apron to save paper towels.
I use my Dyson around the studio for general cleanup, but the soft dusting attachment can be used on paintings to remove stray tiny scraps of metal leaf. Gather and reuse as much of the leaf scraps as you can first.
For large paintings that don’t fit in my washing machine drain pans, I use these folding sawhorses, which can be stores under my couch when not in use. I put two 2x4s across them, clamped in place, and cover the boards with silicone mats where the paintings touch to avoid sticking. Underneath, I put a PVC shower curtain, which can be reused after you peel off the acrylic drips.
