Dyson Dusting Brush Attachment The soft dusting brush attachment on the Dyson will prevent scratching of the metal leaf. I recommend one like this one. Whenever possible, make sure you reuse larger scraps of leaf before vacuuming - I save mine in a cup.

Gloves I like to use gloves while working with metal leaf, to keep the oils from my hands from interfering with my process. It’s important to save and reuse your gloves as many times as you can to reduce waste. Latex also works well if you are not allergic.
