Sierra Mountains painting

This painting was made in stages over a period of 15 years. It began as a memory of backpacking in the Sierra mountains of California. This piece accompanied us on 7 moves, and never quite felt done. When our boxes arrived from our recent move back to British Columbia, the time felt right to finish it and let it go.

Original painting is acrylic on canvas, 24" x 30" with 1.5” canvas depth

This painting is signed in paint at the bottom right corner by the artist, and on the back with the artist’s custom aspen leaf stamp. The edges are painted to match and hanging hardware is attached, so you can hang it without a frame, or add a frame to suit your decor.
