This is a one of a kind acacia box with a hinged lid and four compartments inside. The box lid features a mosaic design made with strips of recycled cut up paint, sealed in food safe resin. The surface has been honed to a smooth satin finish which resists glare and scratches. It has been stamped on the back with the artist's custom wood burning brand.

This acacia box measures 12 1/2" x 4 1/8" x 3 7/8" and has four compartments inside, which can hold tea bags, vanity items, keepsakes or jewelry.

Care and Packaging

The tray is packaged with ribbon and a care instruction card.

Cleaning instructions: Wipe clean with a damp cloth. The flat resin tray top can be cleaned with glass cleaner or alcohol. The wood can be conditioned with mineral oil.

This is a handmade piece of art on natural wood, and all handmade pieces will have small cosmetic bubbles or defects in the resin, or irregularities in the wood. Check photos carefully and message us for any clarifications.

About the Repurpose Series

Kathryn’s annual series was made to celebrate Earth Day and a year’s worth of learning, repurposing the accumulated paint drips from a year in the studio.

The Repurpose mosaics are created with the leftover drips of paint and strips of canvas from Kathryn’s artwork. Each one is unique, and uses up materials that would otherwise be wasted.
