This is a geode style abstract painting in mixed media, the first in the series.  It has many layers of ultra glossy resin to protect the painting and make the colors pop.  Inside the resin are layers of glitter, composite gold leaf and mica flakes.  

This painting is unframed, but hanging hardware is attached and the edges are finished to match (see photos) so you can hang it unframed or add a frame that suits your decor.  This unique piece is made on two sturdy 12" x 24" canvas panels, which can be arranged in a variety of ways.  There is a lot of texture and sparkle from different angles.
