This is a mosaic style design made from cut up paintings on canvas, sealed in food safe resin.

The acacia tray measures 16” square. It has been stamped on the back with the artist's custom brand.

The tray may be used as a serving tray or decorative tray. Not recommended for hot foods, sharp tools, prolonged outdoor use or immersion in water. These trays are the new, upgraded style of rectangular and square trays, and are larger and heavier than the original rectangular trays. You can read about the new trays and compare formats here.

This is a handmade piece of art on natural acacia, and all handmade pieces will have small cosmetic bubbles or defects in the resin, or irregularities in the wood. Check photos carefully and message us for any clarifications.

Care and Packaging

The tray is packaged with ribbon and a care instruction card.

Cleaning instructions: Wipe clean with a damp cloth. The flat resin tray top can be cleaned with glass cleaner or alcohol. The wood can be conditioned with mineral oil.

About the Repurpose Series

Kathryn’s annual series was made to celebrate Earth Day and a year’s worth of learning, repurposing the accumulated paint drips from a year in the studio.

The Repurpose mosaics are created with the leftover drips of paint and strips of canvas from Kathryn’s artwork. Each one is unique, and uses up materials that would otherwise be wasted.
