Copper Monterey Bay Aquarium Benefit Acacia and Resin Tray - 139
This is a one of a kind painting in acrylic and resin on a solid round acacia tray. It has hand applied genuine copper leaf under two coats of resin in the logo of the Monterey Bay Aquarium. 100% of proceeds from this piece will be donated to the Aquarium. Read about my other conservation benefits, totaling over $10K in 2018.
Note from Kathryn: I’m not affiliated with the Aquarium, but my husband and I have been donors to this nonprofit for years. Our kids have grown up loving ocean animals because of their many trips to see the octopus and kelp forest tanks. The Monterey Bay Aquarium also pioneered the Seafood Watch program to help people learn more about the sustainability of the seafood we eat. Learn more at www.montereybayaquarium.org.
The acacia tray measures 15" round by 2" high. It has been stamped on the back with the artist's custom wood burning brand.
The tray has been finished with food safe resin, and can be used as a serving tray.
Cleaning instructions: Wipe clean with a damp cloth. The flat resin tray top can be cleaned with glass cleaner or alcohol. Read more about resin care here.
