Riverbed Series 11 Green Geode - 22x22

$695.00
Sold

Inspired by stones, water and aerial photography, the riverbed series draws from time I spent doing forestry work in northern Canada. These layered mixed media pieces are created in many stages using acrylic paints, metal leaf, glitter and food safe resin.

This geode inspired piece is finished in the same manner as my trays or as the upcycled kitchen tabletop that I use in my home every day with my 3 small children - the surface is very durable! Read more about resin care here.

This piece has many cool textural details such as iridescent glitter, natural mica and uneven resin. Unlike others in the series, the surface is not smooth like a tabletop, and the texture looks really cool at different angles. The iridescent glitter is in shades of blue and green with subtle purples, and changes depending on the lighting.

The wood and fiberboard panel measures approximately 22” square, and weighs about 7 lbs with hanging hardware attached. Sturdy d-rings are attached on the back at all four corners, and extra wire is included so you can choose your orientation.

These are original, one of a kind handmade paintings and may have small bubbles, distortions or defects in the resin. Check pictures and contact me with any questions.  If used as a tabletop, I guarantee the resin surface for one year after purchase (if you follow my enclosed care instructions) but it should last much longer than that.
